In 2026, Impacterra delivered a Climate program through the LUMS Summer School, working with young students through an experiential curriculum designed to make climate and environmental issues tangible. Instead of simply listening to lectures, students explored climate concepts, examined real-world challenges and developed their own ideas and solutions. In one workshop, students designed and pitched sustainable-community concepts, turning climate learning into something they could actively build, defend and imagine for themselves.The LUMS experience reinforced something at the heart of Impacterra’s mission: young people do not lack the curiosity or willingness to engage with climate change. What they need is the right framework, the right tools and the opportunity to act.Impacterra exists to build that framework.We see climate education not as an end in itself, but as the starting point for a generation that can make better decisions - as citizens, professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers and leaders.Our ambition is simple: to help build a generation that is not only aware of the climate crisis, but equipped to do something about it.
