Our Work
We design and deliver technology-driven solutions that bridge critical gaps in agriculture and climate. From empowering farmers with real-time insights to helping businesses digitize procurement, and from unlocking financial access to enabling climate-smart practices, our work is rooted in solving real problems on the ground. Each initiative combines data, digital tools, and practical execution to create measurable impact, improving livelihoods, strengthening value chains, and driving sustainability.

 1. Farmer App (Thailand & Pakistan)

Problem:
Smallholder farmers lacked access to timely, reliable information about crop health, weather conditions,
market prices, and advisory support, limiting their productivity and income potential.

Solution:
Built a digital farmer app that provided:-Remote sensing–based crop health insights-Weather alerts
and commodity rates-Digital loan application facility-Interactive forum to connect with agronomists and
livestock experts

Impact:
-Scaled to 1M+ farmers across Thailand and Pakistan
-Improved farmers’ decision-making, crop productivity, and access to finance-Established one of the largest digital farmer networks in the region

 2. B2B Procurement Solution for Mills

Problem:
Agribusinesses like cassava and sugar mills faced inefficiencies in sourcing crops, often relying on middlemen without reliable data
on farmer locations, crop type, crop growth progress, or harvest timelines. This led to poor visibility, delayed procurement,
and higher costs.

Solution:
Developed an end-to-end digital procurement solution for mills, integrating remote sensing and machine learning to digitize
sourcing:

-Farmer Mapping: Collected and mapped farm coordinates of potential suppliers, tagging them as leads.
-Crop Detection & Growth Stages: Built ML models to remotely detect crop type and monitor growth stages, enabling mills to
track crop maturity in real time.

-Harvest Detection: Automated detection of harvest readiness to optimize procurement scheduling.
-Yield Forecasting: Predicted expected volumes to plan logistics and contracts effectively.
-Anomaly Detection: Identified crop health issues, weather impacts, or abnormal field patterns to flag risks early.

Impact:
-Streamlined procurement by providing mills with accurate, data-driven sourcing insights.
-Reduced dependency on middlemen through direct farmer engagement.
-Improved transparency, forecasting accuracy, and cost efficiency.
-Minimized procurement risks by proactively identifying anomalies.

 3. Agri Credit Scoring Model

Problem:
Financial institutions lacked reliable mechanisms to assess the creditworthiness of smallholder farmers, leading
to limited access to formal financing.

Solution:
Designed and launched Pakistan’s first farm credit scoring model, factoring:-Ability to repay (based on yield forecasts, landholding,
and crop cycles)-Willingness to repay (based on behavioral data and psychometric analysis)

Impact:-
- Enabled banks and MFIs to extend loans to previously excluded farmers-Reduced default risk for lenders through
data-driven assessments
-Opened new pathways for financial inclusion in agriculture

 4. Crop Factoring Model

Problem:
Farmers supplying to mills often faced long payment delays since mills typically took weeks or months to clear invoices. This created severe cash flow problems, forcing farmers to borrow from informal lenders at high interest rates.

Solution:
Introduced a Crop Factoring Model, where:-Purchased farmers’ receivables from mills at a discount-Farmers were paid instantly at harvest through the platform-Collected payments from the mills later, once invoices were cleared

Impact:
-Provided farmers with immediate liquidity at fair rates
-Reduced farmers’ reliance on informal moneylenders
-Strengthened farmer–mill relationships by improving trust and financial stability

 5. AWD Rice for Carbon Credits

Problem:
Rice cultivation is a major source of methane emissions, but most farmers lacked access to climate finance mechanisms that could reward them for adopting sustainable practices like Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD).

Solution:
Designed of a project applying AWD irrigation in rice, structured under the Gold Standard methodology. The work included:
-Assessing feasibility of emission reductions through AWD practices-Structuring the Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) framework
-Developing the model to enable future monetization through carbon credits

Impact (Design Stage):
-Created a scalable blueprint for reducing methane emissions in rice farming-Positioned Project Developers to connect farmers with carbon finance opportunities
-Demonstrated how digital agriculture platforms could support climate-smart practices and carbon credit generation
